Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fiori Donato started the match with the kick off. Remo Mirandas short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Raphael Meireles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gilson Torres hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Gilson Torres's late challenge caught a Ginimbu EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilson Torres helped the player get up and apologised. Gilson Torres hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Raphael Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Donato in the 7th minute of the match. Alberto Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Miroros EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Fiori Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olívio Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Torres having to interfere. Ginimbu EC's Eriberto Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Alcântara in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Miroros EC's Raphael Meireles got control of the ball when Remo Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fiori Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Raphael Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Ginimbu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Alcântara came free, but Eriberto Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Ginimbu EC got a freekick which was hit by Dudu de Sena. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Baptista in the 32nd minute of play forced Ginimbu EC's goalkeeper Eriberto Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olívio Baptista made a kick off. Roberto Tróia's late challenge caught a Ginimbu EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Roberto Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiori Donato struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Raphael Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ginimbu EC. After some careless play in the Miroros EC defense, Remo Miranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raphael Meireles. The Miroros EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raphael Meireles should have stopped the shot. Remo Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Ginimbu EC. Percy Alves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raphael Meireles. 3-1. When Alberto Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Miroros EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Raphael Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Raphael Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fiori Donato went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Raphael Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Miranda in the 92nd minute of play. Simão Vinhas hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Miroros EC got a freekick which was hit by Simão Vinhas. Gilson Torres got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 98th minute, Gilson Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remo Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ginimbu EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
