Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fiori Donato started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fiori Donato in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fabiano Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Maraca SS booed when Ginimbu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafim Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexsandro Trigo succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Serafim Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maraca SS's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Remo Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Luís Fabiano Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredão Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Maraca SS's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Miranda came free, but Luís Fabiano Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ginimbu EC's Eriberto Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ginimbu EC from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexsandro Trigo in the 36th minute. When Alexsandro Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Maraca SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Trigo couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafim Alvarenga to strike the kick off in the second half. Fiori Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Guimarães having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Ginimbu EC's Luís Fabiano Guimarães threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fiori Donato, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 56 played minutes Maraca SS got a freekick which was hit by Alex Silveira. 68 minutes into the match, Ginimbu EC's Remo Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Fabiano Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexsandro Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Torres having to interfere. If Serafim Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Trigo in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Agostinho Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ginimbu EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maraca SS the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Ginimbu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Serafim Alvarenga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When Fiori Donato came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ginimbu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Donato couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
