Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Olívio de Godoy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Tadeu Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ideao FC the free kick. Tadeu Coutinho hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 4 played minutes Ideao FC got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Saldanha. In the 5th minute of the match Carlos Eduardo Paranaense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agenor Marques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Agenor Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio de Godoy in the 11th minute of play forced Piva's goalkeeper Marcelinho Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luiz Fabiano do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Piva defense, Sidney Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Prado. The Piva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Prado should have stopped the shot. When Piva's Luiz Fabiano do Valle in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ideao FC's goalie prevented a goal. Falcão Cearense hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Carlos Eduardo Paranaense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Agenor Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano do Valle in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Ideao FC got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Moreno. Dedé do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Piva's Dedé do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Luiz Fabiano do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Piva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano do Valle couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Luiz Fabiano do Valle made the kick off in the second half. Alan de Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan de Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Luiz Fabiano do Valle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Agenor Marques. The goal made the score 1-2. If Dedé do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Piva's Agenor Marques threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Fabiano do Valle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dedé do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Agenor Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Piva's Luiz Fabiano do Valle, in the 70th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Piva. 72 minutes into the match, Ideao FC's goalkeeper Agenor Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedé do Nascimento. 73 minutes into the match, Piva's Luiz Fabiano do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agenor Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ideao FC's goalkeeper Agenor Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olívio de Godoy during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Olívio de Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Dedé do Nascimento got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Piva's zone, Olívio de Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Prado came out of the goal and Olívio de Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ideao FC's Agenor Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano do Valle in the 86th minute of play. Dedé do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Agenor Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piva. When Dedé do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Piva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Agenor Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ideao FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Piva were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
