Miracica's Carlos Eduardo Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Martins took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aleandro Barreto to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute, Nildo Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalmo de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Aleandro Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Teixeira went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonçalo de Souza during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Miroros AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Miracica:s goal. Aleandro Barreto had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Fred Félix's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 40 minutes Miroros AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fred Félix who took care of the corner kick. Adalmo de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká da Rocha in the 43rd minute of the match. If Amadeu de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Eduardo Martins to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Carlos Eduardo Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Amadeu de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Kaká da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adalmo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká da Rocha in the 62nd minute of play. Amadeu de Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adalmo de Carvalho having to make a save. Miroros AD's Amadeu de Queiroz came free and shot a quick shot against goal 68 minutes in the game, fortunately Adalmo de Carvalho had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 75th minute, Teodoro Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká da Rocha in the 80th minute of play forced Miracica's goalkeeper Adalmo de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miracica's Carlos Eduardo Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Eduardo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
