Custódio de Castro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oséias Baiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Custódio de Castro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. If Ciro Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vânderson da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vânderson da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Vânderson da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Diego Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aírton Souto got free with Oséias Baiano in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ezequiel Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Moreno in the 23rd minute of play. Ciro Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ezequiel Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséias Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Nogueira in the 33rd minute of the match. Diego Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Motta having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Custódio de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Assaituba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rubelita AD the free kick. In the 48th minute, Ciro Sampaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Wiliam Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Ezequiel Motta. Assaituba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a little luck, Assaituba FC's Ezequiel Motta got control of the ball when Wiliam Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ezequiel Motta had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ciro Sampaio from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Oséias Baiano came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Assaituba FC's Diego Nogueira. But to his dismay, Diego Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Aírton Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiliam Morenos short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Ezequiel Motta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Wiliam Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubelita AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Motta having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Assaituba FC's Aírton Souto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséias Baiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciro Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ezequiel Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Assaituba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Wiliam Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Assaituba FC's Custódio de Castro got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Custódio de Castro off the ground. The supporters of Rubelita AD booed when Assaituba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Custódio de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Rubelita AD's Ciro Sampaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezequiel Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. With his leg Ezequiel Motta managed to avoid a goal in the 101stth minute, when Rubelita AD's Wiliam Moreno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Assaituba FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rubelita AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Rubelita AD.
