Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Luís Brodel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Geraldo Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Toninho Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geraldo Freitas was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Geraldo Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Brodel in the 15th minute of the match. Edmílson Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Doni Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Loureiro during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Souzas SS got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Loureiro. If Edmílson Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Doni Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Queirós in the 36th minute of play forced Souzas SS's goalkeeper Geraldo Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geraldo Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Queirós in the 39th minute of the match. Geraldo Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Souzas SS's zone, Toninho Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Freitas came out of the goal and Toninho Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Pedro Luís Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Félix to make the kick off. Geraldo Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Queirós in the 57th minute. Toninho Queirós had several of the Souzas SS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Geraldo Freitas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Doni Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Quirino's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Doni Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Félix in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Pedro Luís Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benedito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luís Brodel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Benedito FC's Toninho Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geraldo Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Doni Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Quirino in the 79th minute of play. Benedito FC's Doni Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Félix in the 86th minute of play. Pedro Luís Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Geraldo Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
