The supporters of Ibiassuce booed when Bacabal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bacabal's Sílvio Arósio got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Ibiassuce's André Luís Tepedino in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bacabal's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiaguinho de Sena in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Digo Dantas saved Bacabal from getting behind. A collision led to Bacabal getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Custódio Meirelles hit a great ball. André Luís Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Digo Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Natanael Brodel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lino Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sílvio das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Digo Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Sílvio Arósio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Arósio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Sílvio das Neves made a huge save. Digo Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho de Sena in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Umberto Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Sílvio Arósio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sílvio Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio das Neves having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natanael Brodel was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ibiassuce booed when Bacabal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Custódio Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Bacabal's Digo Dantas got control of the ball when André Luís Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Tiaguinho de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Digo Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natanael Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sílvio das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sílvio Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio das Neves having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ibiassuce's Moisés Guedes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Agostinho da Mata missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 84 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Sílvio das Neves right hand side. Ibiassuce's Sílvio das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Brodel in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Brodel in the 89th minute of play forced Ibiassuce's goalkeeper Sílvio das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ibiassuce getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Léo Batista hit a great ball. After 91 minutes, Léo Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibiassuce and the Bacabal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Ibiassuce got a freekick which was hit by Léo Batista. Sílvio das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Bacabal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
