Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Luís Brodel got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Benedito FC booed when Bacabal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Digo Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luís Brodel's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Benedito FC's Claudinho Tasso got a free kick in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Benedito FC's zone, Agostinho da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Soeiro came out of the goal and Agostinho da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toninho Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Digo Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Doni Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Brodel in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Bacabal's Natanael Brodel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doni Soeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, Benedito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Brodel came free, but Doni Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Digo Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natanael Brodel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st play minute Sílvio Arósio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Doni Soeiro. 0-2. Benedito FC's Doni Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Benedito FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Arósio got free with Doni Soeiro in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd match minute, Bacabal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Brodel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bacabal's zone, Toninho Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Digo Dantas came out of the goal and Toninho Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Luís Brodel struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Digo Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benedito FC. Bacabal's Sílvio Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Célio Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benedito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacabal the free kick. If Natanael Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Sílvio Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Bacabal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Arósio couldn't finish the play. If Sílvio Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Pedro Luís Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Digo Dantas was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Cauã de Carvalho's late challenge caught a Bacabal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauã de Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Benedito FC got a freekick which was hit by Cauã de Carvalho. In the 92nd minute, Natanael Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Sílvio Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacabal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Arósio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
