After a defensive mix-up in Dobrada's zone, Silvério Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Correia came out of the goal and Silvério Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Davinopolis SS's Gugu Leão in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dobrada's goalie prevented a goal. After 7 played minutes Dobrada got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Lira. Claudinho Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over César Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Tiago Gabriel Soeiro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Davinopolis SS's César Guedes. César Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st match minute, Davinopolis SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Arce to maneuver through the defense. César Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinho Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Tiago Gabriel Soeiro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Davinopolis SS's César Guedes. César Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Falcão Rezende's late challenge caught a Dobrada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falcão Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Davinopolis SS got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Rezende. In the 31st minute, Léo Pinheiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Davinopolis SS's César Guedes didn't even have to move. If Tiago Gabriel Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Mendes in the 39th minute of play. Diego Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Claudinho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

With a little luck, Dobrada's Diego Correia got control of the ball when Silvério Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Davinopolis SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fábio do Nascimento in the 69th minute. Davinopolis SS's Fábio do Nascimento was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diego Correia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Patrício Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dobrada's protests and gave Patrício Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Dobrada got a freekick which was hit by Patrício Pereira. In the 81st match minute, Davinopolis SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Arce to maneuver through the defense. When Dobrada's Claudinho Aguiar in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. César Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dobrada were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Davinopolis SS for a fine match.
