Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carmona FC's Valdemar Leal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, Dores's Jonas Rezende made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Simão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reginaldo Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís de Godoy having to interfere. André Luís de Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Dores's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Leal came free, but André Luís de Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Diniz in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Rezende got free with Abel Simão in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Marcinho Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. André Luís de Godoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcinho Veiga during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Carmona FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marcinho Veiga hit a great ball. Dores's Serafim Bittencourt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carmona FC. After having played for 39 minutes, Jorge Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Luís de Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Leal in the 45th minute of play. The Dores players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carmona FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Nóbrega to strike the kick off in the second half. Carmona FC's Valdemar Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Edson Dias fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dores's protests and gave Edson Dias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Dores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Dias to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes, José Augusto Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dores and the Carmona FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Carmona FC booed when Dores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmona FC's Valdemar Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Carmona FC booed when Dores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Dores's Flávio Loyola got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Dedê Diniz scored 1-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Luís de Godoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carmona FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
