Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredinho Maciel started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Ferraria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Furtado to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Agenor Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Charqueadas's Nuno Coelho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 7 minutes of play, Charqueadas's Germano Mazza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agenor Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Germano Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Chaves having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Charqueadas got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Coutinho. If Alfredinho Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Maciel in the 22nd minute of play forced Charqueadas's goalkeeper Alexandre Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfredinho Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano Mazza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Charqueadas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 28th match minute, Ferraria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Ferraria FC's Agenor Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Mazza in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Clemente Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charqueadas and the Ferraria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandre Bastos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Germano Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, one of Ferraria FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Agenor Chaves, was totally fooled by Charqueadas's Christiano Alagoano, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd minute Nuno Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agenor Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Nuno Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Germano Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charqueadas's goalkeeper Alexandre Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Charqueadas's Alexandre Rezende got control of the ball when Nando Pena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agenor Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Coelho in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agenor Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredinho Maciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Nando Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Maciel in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Ferraria FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Digo de Barros hit a great ball. Christiano Alagoano, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ferraria FC's Nando Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferraria FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
