Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ferraria FC's Alfredinho Maciel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Morao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Maciel came free, but Douglas da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Chaves having to interfere. William Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luiz Fernando Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Morao SC got a freekick which was hit by Dito Pernambucano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato do Nascimento during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Renato do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nando Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the game, Ferraria FC's Alfredinho Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Douglas da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ferraria FC's Agenor Chaves got control of the ball when Luiz Fernando Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Ferraria FC's zone, William Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agenor Chaves came out of the goal and William Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Rubens Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas da Silveira having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Morao SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. Nando Pena's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Douglas da Silveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Maciel in the 65th minute of play forced Morao SC's goalkeeper Douglas da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morao SC's goalkeeper Douglas da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Morao SC's William Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agenor Chaves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Luiz Fernando Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Chaves having to interfere. Agenor Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Urbano in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Ferraria FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Rodrigues came free, but Agenor Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Morao SC booed when Ferraria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, William Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morao SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Ferraria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Ramos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Urbano in the 92nd minute of play forced Ferraria FC's goalkeeper Agenor Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Morao SC's William Rodrigues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agenor Chaves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Morao SC got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Maranhense. Ferraria FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Morao SC had controlled the match.
