The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaldo Barreto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Renato Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lucianos's protests and gave Renato Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Renato Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nepomuceno were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Lucianos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oscar Salgado took the corner. Lucianos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nepomuceno the free kick. Faustão Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Luiz Gustavo de Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ramón Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Guimarães in the 95th minute of the match. The Nepomuceno players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lucianos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
