Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francisco de Godoy got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Muquicaba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswaldo Zilles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 9 played minutes Muquicaba SC got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Amorim. 1-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Francisco de Godoy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Muquicaba SC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Varela. Reynaldo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Francisco de Godoy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramón Trancoso, 2-0. Francisco de Godoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramón Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco de Godoy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute, Franklin Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Barreto was the one to do the kick off. Ramón Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco de Godoy in the 53rd minute of play. Ramón Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco de Godoy in the 56th minute of play forced Nepomuceno's goalkeeper Ramón Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nepomuceno's Franklin Borges got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Barreto in the 59th minute of play forced Muquicaba SC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Zilles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nepomuceno booed when Muquicaba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nepomuceno's Oscar Salgado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Muquicaba SC. Muquicaba SC's Oswaldo Zilles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Muquicaba SC from getting a goal against them. João Pedro Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Lopez hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Francisco de Godoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramón Trancoso having to make a save. Norberto Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Muquicaba SC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ulisses Branco hit a great ball. Muquicaba SC's Oswaldo Zilles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Barreto in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muquicaba SC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Zilles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Reynaldo Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Zilles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Reynaldo Barreto took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Oswaldo Zilles to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Muquicaba SC's Eliézer Hoffmann got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Walmir Maranhense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oswaldo Zilles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Reynaldo Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oswaldo Zilles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Muquicaba SC had won after a very even match.
