Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pauliceia's Marcus Barreto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iuri Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Róbson Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cláudio Favoretto fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pauliceia's protests and gave Cláudio Favoretto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Cláudio Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Pauliceia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pauliceia booed when Apuhy AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iuri Vasconcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Róbson Perez made a huge save. Róbson Perez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iuri Vasconcelos in the 12th minute. Ciro Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ciro Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Apuhy AD's Gilson Velasco got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Iuri Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Pauliceia's Iuri Vasconcelos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Róbson Perez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Iuri Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pauliceia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iuri Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Dito Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Favoretto was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Pauliceia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cláudio Favoretto hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Durval Matorin to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Gilson Velasco put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Azevedo. Apuhy AD's Diego Brito suffered a sore thigh after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitinho Perez during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vitinho Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Iuri Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilson Velasco scored 0-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Róbson Perez came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Pauliceia's Iuri Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Iuri Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Pauliceia's zone, Gilson Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Azevedo came out of the goal and Gilson Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Róbson Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Vasconcelos in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Iuri Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Barreto hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Gilson Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ciro Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Apuhy AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
