Celso Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. Celso Mineiro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Lucas Donato struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Baltazar Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaibal SC. Simão Melo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltazar Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simão Melo ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Paranaense in the 24th minute of the match. Lucas Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Baltazar Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tapara FC's zone, Lucas Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltazar Neves came out of the goal and Lucas Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltazar Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Donato in the 32nd minute of play. Dráuzio Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Augusto Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Neves having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerson Brodel to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Tapara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Paes to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Simão Melo sped through Tapara FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baltazar Neves. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurinho Paes got free with Augusto Monteiro in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Guaibal SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerson Brodel came free, but Augusto Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lucas Donato came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Guaibal SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Donato couldn't finish the play. Baltazar Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Melo in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guaibal SC's zone, Dráuzio Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Monteiro came out of the goal and Dráuzio Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráuzio Paranaense had several of the Guaibal SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Augusto Monteiro as he didn't even see the shot coming. 95 minutes into the match, Tapara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Donato came free, but Baltazar Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Guaibal SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tapara FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Tapara FC.
