Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo de Barros started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Samuel Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xerente and the Paranavai FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Xerente got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Gomes. Reinaldo Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Samuel Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo de Barros in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Xerente's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Miranda came free, but Reinaldo Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paranavai FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Samuel Gomes 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 27 minutes, Fábio Netto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xerente and the Paranavai FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Xerente got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Netto. Gustavo de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Reinaldo Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Xerente defense, Gustavo de Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinaldo Tavares. The Xerente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaldo Tavares should have stopped the shot. Adelino Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Reinaldo Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xerente's Reinaldo Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo de Barros in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Gustavo de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Samuel Gomes made the kick off in the second half. Samuel Gomes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Toledo having to make a save. Reinaldo Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo de Barros in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Adelino Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranavai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Toledo having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Samuel Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paranavai FC's Noel Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Galvão in the 75th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Benedito Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xerente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paranavai FC the free kick. Benedito Goiano hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo de Barros in the 87th minute of play forced Xerente's goalkeeper Reinaldo Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Gustavo de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Galvão in the 90th minute of play. Samuel Gomes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Toledo having to make a save. In the 97th match minute, Xerente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
