Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Romário de Castro kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute João Francisco Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão de Amorim in the 13th minute of play forced Pirangai's goalkeeper Dadá Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pirangai's Romário de Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Kauã Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirangai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catimbau SS the free kick. In the 31st minute, Kauã Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Filipe Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirangai's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandinho Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Francisco Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dadá Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão de Amorim in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Pirangai's goal looked a bit too open when Simão de Amorim came free, but Dadá Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The wind increased when Simão de Amorim made the kick off in the second half. João Francisco Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simão de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandinho Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário de Castro in the 61st minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Catimbau SS got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Prestes. Fernandinho Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romário de Castro in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandinho Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pirangai's Romário de Castro in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catimbau SS's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Pirangai booed when Catimbau SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Romário de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário de Castro in the 82nd minute of play forced Catimbau SS's goalkeeper Fernandinho Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Filipe Félix came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Pirangai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Félix couldn't finish the play. Fernandinho Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Félix in the 87th minute of the match. The Pirangai supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Catimbau SS's performance. The match ended with a win for Catimbau SS.
