The audience was convinced that Dedé de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidnei Reis was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Leandro Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Corrêa struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Aníbal Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarapo SS. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cerobas EC's Aníbal Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Corrêa in the 77th minute of play. Aníbal Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Corrêa in the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Leandro Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dedé de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sarapo SS had won after a very even match.
