Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vitório Rosa got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Neves in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olívio Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luizão Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Olívio Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Vitório Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Luizão Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olívio Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Rosa in the 22nd minute of play forced Candoso SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizão Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Olívio Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luizão Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gernando Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Silveira having to interfere. Gernando Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Olívio Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão Dante scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Geovanni Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Douglas Lira from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Pedrinho Viana's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Vitório Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Candoso SC got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Cerezo. 46 minutes into the match, Geovanni Reis notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Candoso SC's Pedrinho Viana. Pedrinho Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizão Dante was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Candoso SC's Hamílton Leão got a free kick in the 55th minute. Pedrinho Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Candoso SC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Albertino Velloso hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Douglas Lira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedrinho Viana skillfully saved the ball. Pedrinho Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Rosa in the 77th minute of play. Gernando Nevess short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Olívio Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tiaguinho Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiaguinho Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aribao SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Olívio Silveira, was totally fooled by Candoso SC's Hamílton Leão, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Marcelo Arantes hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Aribao SC defense, Gernando Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olívio Silveira. The Aribao SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olívio Silveira should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Candoso SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
