Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Carlos Silveira kicked off to start the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Túlio Leme fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anguereta EC's protests and gave Túlio Leme a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Portao FC booed when Anguereta EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Róbson Quaresma shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro de Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Túlio Leme in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitinho Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the game, Simão Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anguereta EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portao FC the free kick. The supporters of Portao FC booed when Anguereta EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitinho Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Décio Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Sandro de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Cruz in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdo Trancoso to strike the kick off in the second half. Túlio Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Osvaldo Cruz took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro de Azevedo. Sandro de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Anguereta EC's zone, Osvaldo Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro de Azevedo came out of the goal and Osvaldo Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandro de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Cruz in the 62nd minute of the match. Sandro de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Portao FC's Vitinho Donato got control of the ball when Nilmar Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdo Trancoso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vitinho Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilmar Carvalho in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilmar Carvalho got free with Vitinho Donato in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilmar Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Vitinho Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
