If Rubinho Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubinho Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Leonel Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yauacana SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piem EC the free kick. When Leonel Souza came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Yauacana SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Souza couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Seco during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Osvaldo Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yauacana SC's Narciso de Carvalho got a free kick in the 28th minute. Piem EC's Bernardo Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso de Carvalho in the 31st minute of play. Leonel Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Piem EC's Enéas Velasco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Claudinei Seco but with some difficulty. 43 minutes into the match, Piem EC's Rubinho Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Yauacana SC's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Guedes came free, but Claudinei Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeu de Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudinei Seco came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Piem EC's Doriva Guedes. But to his dismay, Doriva Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubinho Senna in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Guedes in the 61st minute of play forced Yauacana SC's goalkeeper Claudinei Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yan Moraes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Rubinho Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Claudinei Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinei Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Doriva Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Piem EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva Guedes couldn't finish the play. Rubinho Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinei Seco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Yauacana SC's Conrado das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doriva Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Claudinei Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinei Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Guedes in the 96th minute of play. Anísio Proença hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Enéas Velasco, 99 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Piem EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
