Paranary's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ernesto Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Cunha in the 14th minute of the match. Vinícius Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jaguariahyva's Gildo de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaguariahyva's Cido Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Jaguariahyva from getting a goal against them. Cido Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivélton Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cido Batista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. If Luiz Fábio Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ernesto Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jaguariahyva's zone, Celso Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Batista came out of the goal and Celso Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute, Celso Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaguariahyva's Cido Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Machado in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Celso Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cido Batista. Jaguariahyva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gildo de Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gildo de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo de Souza in the 58th minute of play forced Paranary's goalkeeper Ernesto Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaguariahyva's Cido Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Bueno in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Elivélton Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paranary and the Jaguariahyva players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Paranary getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Elivélton Machado hit a great ball. Cido Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Messias in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Paranary's goalkeeper Ernesto Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fábio Cunha. After a defensive mix-up in Paranary's zone, Luiz Fábio Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Mazza came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paranary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaguariahyva the free kick. Ernesto Mazza was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Gildo de Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gildo de Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ernesto Mazza made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Luiz Fábio Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Gildo de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ernesto Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Luiz Fábio Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaguariahyva's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Jaguariahyva players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Paranary from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
