Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Breno Abreu started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Diogo Tróia made a precise shot to the right of Gernando Paraíba. Carinhanha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Carinhanha booed when Gustavo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gustavo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Miguel Toledo hit a great ball. Davi Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Benjamin Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gustavo's zone, Vladimir Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Mota came out of the goal and Vladimir Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Gustavo's Leonardo Massa got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes, Carinhanha's José Pedro da Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjamin Mota came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carinhanha reached it. After having played for 30 minutes, Breno Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gustavo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naldo Costa hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Carinhanha's Vladimir Arce managed to work through Gustavo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Vladimir Arce dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Benjamin Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Hames in the 45th minute of the match. Breno Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gernando Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davi Linares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gustavo booed when Carinhanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diogo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Arce got free with Benjamin Mota in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Mota was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vladimir Arce showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. José Pedro da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Silas Hoffmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gernando Paraíba skillfully saved the ball. Breno Abreu scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gernando Paraíba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st match minute, Carinhanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Pombal to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Carinhanha defense, Diogo Tróia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Paraíba. The Carinhanha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Paraíba should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute Alberto Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carinhanha for a fine match.
