Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edson Galvão started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pupunha AD's goalkeeper Amauri Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amauri Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Vale in the 5th minute of the match. Jaime Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amauri Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. Arthur Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Viana having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Jatuarama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Galvão came free, but Samuca Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pupunha AD's zone, Arthur Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Viana came out of the goal and Arthur Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Arthur Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jatuarama FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pupunha AD's Amauri Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Vale in the 25th minute of play. Virgílio do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Jatuarama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Galvão came free, but Samuca Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Prado took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amauri Viana. Amauri Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Virgílio do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amauri Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Vale in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jaime Vale made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Geovani Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juninho Travassos struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Samuca Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pupunha AD. When César Prado fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jatuarama FC's protests and gave César Prado a yellow card for diving instead. If Virgílio do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes in the game, Edson Galvão fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Samuca Ortiz having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Basílio Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jatuarama FC and the Pupunha AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Jatuarama FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Tande. If Virgílio do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edson Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Edson Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Edson Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pupunha AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edson Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Vale in the 92nd minute of play forced Pupunha AD's goalkeeper Amauri Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Jatuarama FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alessandro Valle hit a great ball. The Pupunha AD players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Jatuarama FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
