Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edson Galvão kicked off to start the match. In the 6th match minute, Pupunha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juninho Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Virgílio do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edson Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César da Costa having to interfere. Virgílio do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manoel Meira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Virgílio do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Edson Galvão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César da Costa was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Silas Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amauri Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Nogueira in the 44th minute of play. Amauri Viana came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Barranquinho SC's Tales Nogueira. But to his dismay, Tales Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Pupunha AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barranquinho SC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tales Nogueira made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Pupunha AD's Luisinho de Almeida got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pupunha AD's zone, Benedito Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Viana came out of the goal and Benedito Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Barranquinho SC booed when Pupunha AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barranquinho SC's Benedito Favoretto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amauri Viana but with some difficulty. Barranquinho SC's Dé Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. César da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Galvão in the 67th minute of play. Pupunha AD's Virgílio do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edson Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Virgílio do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Virgílio do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Barranquinho SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
