In the 7th minute of the match Ivo de Carvalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luiz Marques skillfully saved the ball. If Cássio Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Moisés de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guida SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés de Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Luiz Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emílio Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Simão in the 14th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Deivid Furtado sped through Guida SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emílio Zanette. After a defensive mix-up in Tipi SS's zone, Cássio Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luiz Marques came out of the goal and Cássio Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Deivid Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emílio Zanette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, Tipi SS's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés de Amorim came free, but Sílvio Luiz Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Britto in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sílvio Luiz Marques, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emílio Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Furtado in the 40th minute of play. Emílio Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moisés de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cássio Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sílvio Luiz Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Agostinho Simão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emílio Zanette was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Deivid Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agostinho Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Zanette having to interfere. In the 70th minute Moisés de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tipi SS booed when Guida SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deivid Furtado in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emílio Zanette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deivid Furtado in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Zanette saved Guida SS from getting behind. Tipi SS's Sílvio Luiz Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Britto in the 79th minute of play. Deivid Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Zanette having to interfere. Deivid Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Emílio Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Britto during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cássio Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tipi SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
