Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manuel Lopes got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Lopes in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráuzio da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Buquira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernardo Barros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Manuel Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio da Cunha having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Manuel Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guatuba's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráuzio da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bernardo Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdo Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Moreira having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, Buquira's Adalberto de Alcântara made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guatuba's Richard Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto de Alcântara in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Murilo Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalberto de Alcântara to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Josué Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto de Alcântara in the 60th minute of the match. Buquira's Dráuzio da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Barros in the 68th minute of play. Bernardo Barros took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio da Cunha. Dráuzio da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 76th minute, Bernardo Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Murilo Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráuzio da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Prado during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Guatuba booed when Buquira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráuzio da Cunha came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Guatuba's Manuel Lopes. But to his dismay, Manuel Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Buquira's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
