Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yan Gaúcho kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Uberabinha EC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Motta hit a great ball. Thiago Velloso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Eremetu's zone, Guga Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valério Vale came out of the goal and Guga Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Carlos Fernando Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uberabinha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Fernando Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Filipe Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Quaresma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Quaresma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Gaúcho in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Antônio Carlos Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Vale having to interfere. Genílson de Sena hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Guga Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uberabinha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guga Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Eremetu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Yan Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Quaresma having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Uberabinha EC's Antônio Carlos Motta got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Alex Quadros sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Uberabinha EC's Rafael Quaresma didn't even have to move. Yan Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Quaresma having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Arruda during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Eremetu getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Álvaro Arruda hit a great ball. Carlos Fernando Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Vale having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guga Garcia made a kick off. Yan Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yan Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Quaresma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Rafael Quaresma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thiago Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eremetu's Yan Gaúcho in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uberabinha EC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Uberabinha EC's zone, Yan Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Quaresma came out of the goal and Yan Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes Uberabinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar de Sena. Rafael Quaresma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Fernando Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Yan Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Quaresma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Yan Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eremetu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rafael Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Gaúcho in the 89th minute of play forced Uberabinha EC's goalkeeper Rafael Quaresma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Carlos Fernando Netto came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Uberabinha EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernando Netto couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Eremetu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
