Ramiro Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dorian Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Calderao SC booed when Chopin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Chico Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calderao SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Chico Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Umberto Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Chopin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Dorian Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Umberto Cardoso in the 16th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Calderao SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Ramiro Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tales Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Umberto Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorian Oliveira having to make a save. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calderao SC's goalkeeper Dorian Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Prado in the 34th minute of play forced Chopin's goalkeeper Ramiro Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Chico Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Chico Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tales Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tales Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calderao SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tales Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Chopin's goalkeeper Ramiro Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tales Schmidt. Ramiro Moreira took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorian Oliveira. Dorian Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Chopin's Ramiro Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Prado in the 71st minute of play. Chico Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ramiro Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Chopin's goalkeeper Ramiro Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tales Schmidt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tales Schmidt got free with Ramiro Fernandes in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 87 minutes, Chico Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calderao SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chopin's goalkeeper Ramiro Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tales Schmidts short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Ramiro Fernandes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Chopin were victorious despite being under pressure from Calderao SC for much of the match.
