Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benê Bezerra got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Lapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Viana to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Marila AD got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Soares. If Raphael Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lapa! The goalkeeper, Eusébio Batista, was totally fooled by Marila AD's Oscar Amaral, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lapa's Christiano Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdo Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Eusébio Batista made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Marila AD's Valdo Cosme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusébio Batista. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. In the 45th minute, Christiano Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Valdo Cosme made the kick off in the second half. Valdo Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eusébio Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Raphael Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marila AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdo Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Batista having to interfere. When Luís Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lapa's protests and gave Luís Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lapa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Marila AD. Oscar Amaral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eusébio Batista. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lapa's zone, Raphael Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Batista came out of the goal and Raphael Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christiano Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Arantes having to interfere. Eusébio Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Valdo Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Batista was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 84th minute Jorge Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiano Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Benjamim Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiano Toledo got free with Benjamim Arantes in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lapa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
