Joaquim Cavalcante, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paulinho Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cabori FC's André Luiz Cearense shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulinho Bastos but with some difficulty. After 12 played minutes Camapoa got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Branco. 14 minutes into the match, Edinho Pinheiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulinho Bastos, 1-0. The supporters of Camapoa booed when Cabori FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Orlando Sabóia in the 23rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Romário Botelho's left hand side. Gino Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Dinei Pires made a precise shot to the right of Paulinho Bastos. Camapoa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Paulinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The attack was good, but when Edinho Pinheiro in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Dinei Pires in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulinho Bastos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cesinha Branco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Edinho Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Paulinho Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséas Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséas Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Camapoa's Oséas Salgado got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gino Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edinho Pinheiro in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulinho Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edinho Pinheiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulinho Bastos having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Dinei Pires put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulinho Bastos. Dinei Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Paulinho Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Camapoa's zone, Edinho Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulinho Bastos came out of the goal and Edinho Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Cabori FC's goalkeeper Romário Botelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germano Reis. If Gino Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Novaes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Dinei Pires fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabori FC's protests and gave Dinei Pires a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Cabori FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Pires to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Cabori FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Silvério Cabral hit a great ball. Pedro Luiz Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luiz Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Luiz Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cabori FC fully deserved thier win.
