Itahype FC's Nicolas Paes suffered a sore thigh after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelson Rocha during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Pucurina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Pucurina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edmundo Seco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 26 minutes, Tales Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pucurina and the Itahype FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Pucurina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto de Godoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Pucurina's Rafa Tepedino got control of the ball when Edmundo Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 minutes of play Pucurina's Nelson Rocha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Itahype FC booed when Pucurina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edmundo Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Seco during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmundo Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Rafa Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Seco in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Edmundo Seco made the kick off in the second half. Rafa Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Seco in the 54th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rodriguinho Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Edmundo Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Coutinho hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Edmundo Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rafa Tepedino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edu Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Tepedino having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Coutinho hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Tales Cardoso was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tales Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match.
