A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Passicho's Raimundo de Sena got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Pucurina's Adalmo Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafa Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ediberto de Godoy was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Loyola in the 54th minute of play forced Pucurina's goalkeeper Rafa Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ediberto de Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ediberto de Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Pucurina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ediberto de Godoy couldn't finish the play. When Tales Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pucurina's protests and gave Tales Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Pucurina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Matías Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Pucurina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matías Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Passicho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Paes having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Benjamin Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pucurina's Rafa Tepedino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Passicho's zone, Ediberto de Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Paes came out of the goal and Ediberto de Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ediberto de Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Ediberto de Godoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tales Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benjamin Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matías Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafa Tepedino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matías Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tales Cardoso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Tales Cardoso hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pucurina's goalkeeper Rafa Tepedino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pucurina players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
