The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé da Mata helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Jucas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé da Mata to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Brodel hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Jucas EC's Caio Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jucas EC's Basílio Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Zonta in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Luisão Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Luisão Urbano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ricardo Linares, passed just outside the right post. After 28 played minutes Macahe got a freekick which was hit by Gino Zonta. 30 minutes into the match, Cipriano Maranhense notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jucas EC's Basílio Carioca. Basílio Carioca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramiro Brodel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Linares. That made the score 1-2 in the 34 minute of play. A collision led to Macahe getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gino Zonta hit a great ball. Luisão Urbano charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisão Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luisão Urbano hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jucas EC's Basílio Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Maranhense in the 44th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gino Zonta in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basílio Carioca saved Jucas EC from getting behind. A collision led to Jucas EC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ramiro Brodel hit a great ball. In the 49th minute, Cipriano Maranhense made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Carioca. Jucas EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Maranhense to make the kick off. Cipriano Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cipriano Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Macahe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Urbano in the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Macahe's Cipriano Maranhense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basílio Carioca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Jucas EC got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Urbano. Caio Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ricardo Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Urbano in the 87th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rafael Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macahe's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basílio Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caio Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ricardo Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jucas EC's Dé da Mata got his second yellow card of the match in the 99th minute. The referee ordered Dé da Mata off the ground. After 100 played minutes Jucas EC got a freekick which was hit by Dé da Mata. In the 101st minute, Allan Paraibano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jucas EC's Basílio Carioca didn't even have to move.
