After having played for 23 minutes, Olívio Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eremita SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olívio Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Paulo Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Vieira having to interfere. If Luiz Paulo Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Samuel Vieira made a huge save. Felipe Marques struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Samuca Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eremita SC. If Olívio Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Soares in the 44th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Olívio Soares made the kick off in the second half. Narciso Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match.
