Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Eremita SC's Olívio Soares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Alexandrita's Carlos Alberto do Valle got control of the ball when Felipe Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Amadeu Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alexandrita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Amadeu Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandrita's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Prata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Amadeu Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes, Zé Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eremita SC and the Alexandrita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Prata in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandrita's Thiago Meirelles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Eremita SC. Antônio Carlos Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Vieira having to interfere. When Armandinho Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandrita's protests and gave Armandinho Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Alexandrita got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Albuquerque. Olívio Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Carlos Alberto do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46 minutes, Célio Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alexandrita and the Eremita SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alexandrita getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Célio Paranaense hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Olívio Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeu Prata to strike the kick off in the second half. Eremita SC's Samuel Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Prata in the 55th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 58th minute, but Samuel Vieira got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Eremita SC hanging dry this time. Antônio Carlos Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Vieira having to interfere. Olívio Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Carlos Alberto do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Marques's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When Eremita SC's Olívio Soares in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alexandrita's goalie prevented a goal. Antônio Carlos Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Olívio Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Alberto do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Samuel Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandrita's Carlos Alberto do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Soares in the 90th minute of play. Amadeu Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Vieira having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
