Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vicente Lopez came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Retiro's Ian Bastos. But to his dismay, Ian Bastos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Retiro's Elói de Barros made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ian Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Lopez having to interfere. Picos's Vicente Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói de Barros in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Américo de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardinho Souto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge de Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Elói de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ian Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Lopez having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Picos's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Bastos came free, but Vicente Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Bastos in the 30th minute of play forced Picos's goalkeeper Vicente Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Retiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Ian Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vicente Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Picos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Retiro were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Bastos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Elói de Barros made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Lopez. Picos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of Picos booed when Retiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Retiro's Vicente Lopez threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ian Bastos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Américo de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernardinho Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ian Bastos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Lopez was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Elói de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Délio Machado hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A hard shot 81 in the game by Elói de Barros from a close distance when the talented Vicente Lopez managed to make a qualified save. Picos's players were relieved. If Ian Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elói de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vicente Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Picos getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rômulo Peixoto hit a great ball. Picos's Vicente Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Picos from getting a goal against them. Elói de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Vicente Lopez made a huge save. If Bernardinho Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
