Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aluísio Quirino started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Mataquiri's goal looked a bit too open when William Quintal came free, but Humberto de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Artur Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th match minute, Embirizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Castro to maneuver through the defense. Mataquiri's Joélson Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mataquiri's Yan Ceresso got a free kick in the 12th minute. Elias de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Humberto de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Rogério de Alcântara made a huge save. Aluísio Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério de Alcântara having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Embirizal's zone, Aluísio Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério de Alcântara came out of the goal and Aluísio Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If William Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Décio Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Aluísio Quirino took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rogério de Alcântara to make any attempt to save it. The Mataquiri fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Mataquiri's Aluísio Quirino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Aluísio Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the game, Aluísio Quirino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rogério de Alcântara. Aluísio Quirino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Quintal to strike the kick off in the second half. Yan Ceresso might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério de Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yan Ceresso ran back to his position shaking his head. Humberto de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Elias de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Mataquiri's Humberto de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Mataquiri from getting a goal against them. Elias de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Humberto de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Novaes in the 69th minute of play forced Embirizal's goalkeeper Rogério de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Mataquiri's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elias de Andrade fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Mataquiri's Yan Ceresso got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mataquiri's zone, William Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto de Almeida came out of the goal and William Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mataquiri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when William Quintal scored to the left of an out of position Humberto de Almeida, making the score, 3-1. 86 minutes into the match, Embirizal's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Novaes came free, but Rogério de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aluísio Quirino during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Embirizal booed when Mataquiri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aluísio Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mataquiri's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
