Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cláudio Correia made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo Velasco in the 3rd minute of play forced Morete SC's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Hermes in the 9th minute of the match. Natanael Cunha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oswaldo Ortiz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Valentin's zone, Otávio Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Ortiz came out of the goal and Otávio Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fábio Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Velasco in the 17th minute of the match. Luís Fábio Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cláudio Correia's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. If Otávio Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Valentin's goalkeeper Oswaldo Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natanael Cunha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oswaldo Ortiz firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Otávio Hermes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oswaldo Ortiz. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Morete SC's Rômulo Jacinto got a free kick in the 34th minute. Luís Fábio Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Natanael Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Ortiz made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Otávio Hermes made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Valentin's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Hermes came free, but Oswaldo Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natanael Cunha during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Natanael Cunha hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Chicão Peixoto, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Reginaldo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Morete SC's Tiaguinho Dracena got a free kick in the 68th minute. Reginaldo Velascos short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Luís Fábio Peres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 79 played minutes Morete SC got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Jacinto. After 85 played minutes Valentin got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Britto. Natanael Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Ortiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
