Anísio Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Hermes in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Vito Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natanael Cunha got free with Anísio Proença in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Luís Fábio Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anísio Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Hermes in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Vito Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iraceminha SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morete SC the free kick. When Otávio Hermes fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morete SC's protests and gave Otávio Hermes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Otávio Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iraceminha SS's Falcão de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Otávio Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipriano da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Morete SC's Otávio Hermes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anísio Proença. Anísio Proença yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otávio Hermes was the one to do the kick off. When the referee ended the match the Morete SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
