After some careless play in the Guriu FC defense, Marquinhos Vides kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murilo Alves. The Guriu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murilo Alves should have stopped the shot. Samuel Mangueira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murilo Alves. Guriu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Mariano's Marquinhos Vides nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murilo Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Murilo Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Benê Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Alves was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdomiro Eger was the one to do the kick off. Benê Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murilo Alves having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Benê Santana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Murilo Alves. That made the score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Marquinhos Vides got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mariano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
