Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernandinho Fantini started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Oswaldo Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Valdomiro Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Cruzalia got a freekick which was hit by Dino Nóbrega. Válbson Prado hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Anselmo Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Nunes in the 26th minute of play. Tony Sarmento's late challenge caught a Guriu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cruzalia's Tony Sarmento got a free kick in the 27th minute. Oswaldo Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Lopes having to interfere. Hílton Prata charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Prata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute Valdomiro Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Franklin Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Fantini in the 36th minute of play forced Guriu FC's goalkeeper Murilo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Fantini in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Alves saved Guriu FC from getting behind. Fernandinho Fantini struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Murilo Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzalia. Franklin Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murilo Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franklin Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. Cruzalia's Fernandinho Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Murilo Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandinho Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute Fernandinho Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guriu FC's Murilo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Guedes in the 62nd minute of play. Anselmo Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Eger in the 65th minute of the match. If Oswaldo Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Guriu FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
