Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cajoby's Erivaldo Vianna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Paulo Senna came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cajoby's Erivaldo Vianna. But to his dismay, Erivaldo Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dorian Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Orlando Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Taparuba got a freekick which was hit by Elias Gerber. In the 19th minute of the match Vágner Ferreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Paulo Senna skillfully saved the ball. After 21 played minutes Cajoby got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Quadros. In the 23rd minute, Haroldo Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilton Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erivaldo Vianna in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Paulo Senna saved Taparuba from getting behind. Haroldo Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Tepedino having to interfere. The supporters of Cajoby booed when Taparuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Vágner Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Paulo Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Taparuba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cajoby were winning 0-1.
In the 53rd minute Orlando Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Orlando Secco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cajoby's Wilton Tepedino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Taparuba's Orlando Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erivaldo Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pedro Paulo Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Emerson Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cajoby and the Taparuba players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Taparuba's Orlando Secco in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cajoby's goalie prevented a goal. Dorian Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Senna having to interfere. Haroldo Bittencourt struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Wilton Tepedino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taparuba. A collision led to Taparuba getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Laércio Pinheiro hit a great ball. Dorian Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Senna having to interfere. If Orlando Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Taparuba getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Elias Gerber hit a great ball. A hard shot by Anselmo Almeida from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Pedro Paulo Senna's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dorian Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Pedro Paulo Senna made a huge save. If Erivaldo Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
