Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Adhemar Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Vidal having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Cícero Diniz made a precise shot to the right of Cássio Coelho. Gajueiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Baltazar Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Coelho having to interfere. If Yan Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Adhemar Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gajueiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adhemar Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Yan Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gajueiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. When Adhemar Meirelles in the 23rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Pedrinho Vidal kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 2-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Yan Nóbrega elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cícero Diniz struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Cássio Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melancia SS. Adhemar Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Vidal having to interfere. Cícero Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yan Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melancia SS's Pedrinho Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Meirelles in the 41st minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Chaves to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedrinho Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar Chaves in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Coelho saved Gajueiro FC from getting behind. Gajueiro FC's Cássio Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Chaves in the 54th minute of play. Cícero Diniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Coelho having to make a save. Melancia SS's Baltazar Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Gajueiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Adhemar Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Baltazar Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Maranhense hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Baltazar Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adhemar Meirelles during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Adhemar Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Melancia SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Baptista to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes of play, Gajueiro FC's Adhemar Meirelles made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho Vidal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yan Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pedrinho Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gajueiro FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Melancia SS for a fine match.
