Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edinho Montenegro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Reginaldo Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raiz's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginaldo Couto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitório Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Edinho Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Vinhas having to interfere. If Reginaldo Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Boqueriao FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Faustino. 30 minutes into the game, Boqueriao FC's Edinho Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Vinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Oscar Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Edinho Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Oscar Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edinho Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Vinhas was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Raiz's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Montenegro came free, but Oscar Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Umberto de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umberto de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Raiz's Reginaldo Couto. But to his dismay, Reginaldo Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 58 minutes, Ronaldo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raiz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Virgílio Faustino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boqueriao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raiz the free kick. Kauan Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Boqueriao FC got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Gomes. Ronaldo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Umberto de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72ndth minute of the game Edinho Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raiz's Oscar Vinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Boqueriao FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Virgílio Faustino hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Reginaldo Couto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umberto de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Kauan Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Boqueriao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauan Gomes couldn't finish the play. If Reginaldo Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boqueriao FC's Umberto de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Couto in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Raiz booed when Boqueriao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto de Carvalho having to interfere. When Fellipe Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boqueriao FC's protests and gave Fellipe Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Boqueriao FC got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Duarte. After a defensive mix-up in Boqueriao FC's zone, Ronaldo Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umberto de Carvalho came out of the goal and Ronaldo Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Fernando Berger hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
