Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucas Costa got the match started through his kick off. Célio Souza made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Donatello Urbano sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Costa in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Souza saved Vicente EC from getting behind. Caracarahy AD's Maurício Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Abreu in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Lucas Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Célio Souza, 1-0. 1-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Valério Vasconcelos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Magno Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caracarahy AD's Donatello Urbano suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vicente EC! The goalkeeper, Célio Souza, was totally fooled by Caracarahy AD's Jorge Gaúcho, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Lucas Costa took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Célio Souza to make any attempt to save it. Cristiano Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Vicente EC's Adalberto Rodrigues couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caracarahy AD. After a rather tough play, Caracarahy AD's Cristiano Queiroz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caracarahy AD's goalkeeper Maurício Luz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Caracarahy AD getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristiano Queiroz hit a great ball. After 47 minutes of play, Vicente EC's Magno Abreu made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Magno Abreu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maurício Luz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Valério Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betão Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Célio Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Schmidt's late challenge caught a Vicente EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Eduardo Schmidt helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Eduardo Schmidt hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Magno Abreu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Vicente EC booed when Caracarahy AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Valério Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurício Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Caracarahy AD booed when Vicente EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Souza having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Benedito da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vicente EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caracarahy AD the free kick. In the 97th match minute, Vicente EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito da Costa to maneuver through the defense.
