Jean Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duda Botelho hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Jean Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Agostinho Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Almeida in the 11th minute of play forced Alunas's goalkeeper Agostinho Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duda Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Rodrigues having to interfere. Japyra's Davi Freire proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Japyra from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Alunas's zone, Jean Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agostinho Rodrigues came out of the goal and Jean Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Rodrigues having to interfere. Fernandinho de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Davi Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alunas. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Japyra's goalkeeper Davi Freire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alunas's Fernandinho de Medeiros in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Japyra's goalie prevented a goal. After 42 minutes, Wilson Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Japyra and the Alunas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilson Sampaio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duda Botelho to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernandinho de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 played minutes Japyra got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Sampaio. Davi Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Marcos Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duda Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Rodrigues having to interfere. The supporters of Japyra booed when Alunas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Japyra's Jean Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Evandro Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Japyra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Japyra's Davi Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Novaes in the 77th minute of play. Agostinho Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jean Almeida sent off a good shot on target. After 88 played minutes Japyra got a freekick which was hit by Samuel das Neves. Davi Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho de Medeiros in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Alunas's Marcos Novaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davi Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Fernandinho de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Japyra players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alunas.
