After 57 played minutes, Guido SS's Haroldo de Mendonça shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Vítor Nunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guido SS reached it. Paulo Renato da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Renato da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Vítor Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Donato in the 93rd minute of play. The Toledo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
