In the 16th minute, Tarcisio Varela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jefferson Veloso. The goal made the score 1-0. After 20 played minutes Guido SS got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Pombal. Guido SS's Jefferson Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Cabral in the 21st minute of play. Olavo Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Veloso having to interfere. Jefferson Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauã Dante went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Cauan Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido SS's Claudinho Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavo Cabral to make the kick off. Kauã Dante scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guido SS's Jefferson Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Dante in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Henrique Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
